I’ve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this book (ordered from Kickstarter) and I must say it was well worth the wait. I am literally reading it front to back. The photographs are visually stunning, the information is factual and presented in a way the everyday enthusiast will benefit from. This is a must have for every Herp fan, but especially great for our up and coming youth!
I purchased this book through Kick-starter - and it was a long time in the making. But all's I can say is - SO worth the wait! From the photos, the information, everything is so clearly relevant, fun and more than meets any expectations I could have ever had. I love reptiles and amphibians - but never learned a great deal about them. Living in Louisiana, they are an everyday part of life. This book helps put so much into perspective - and it's written from a knowledgeable, but compassionate type of instruction that really makes you think about alot of things. I can honestly say I brake for all sorts of slithery and scaly things now and help them to safety. The purpose behind this book is something everyone should read. Thanks, Micha, for all you do! I was so excited for my copy to come in the mail, and because I bought it via Kickstarter, it was a long wait! But so, so worth it. I am a reptile educator and husbandry specialist, and when it arrived I quickly flipped to the section about basic reptile care, fearing the worst. But no! The photos are beautiful, the information is thorough and well-delivered, and the formatting is well-organized and easy to understand.
