Kim Saunders has extensive experiences as a wound, ostomy, and continence nurse across a variety of settings, including acute care, hospice, home health and skilled nursing facilities. A must have for any physician that has to manage wound care but had no exposure to it in medical school or residency.
the item has only one large ring holding all of the cards together, the cards are hard and durable looking, but the corners to me are too sharp due to the thickness, way too hard to manage with just one ring, for me this would not be able to be put in your pocket, item would be much better with more spiral type rings holding it together ( like the RN note type pocket references) , or perhaps made out of paper instead of the hard laminated cards, sorry I had to return it, for me it was not practical, not enough info on cards & not what I expected. I would recommend either buying another type of true wound book or a download book for the phone. Hope this helps.
It's a basic reveiw flip book of wound care. Needed it for a new job as its been years since I've done wound care as a nurse. The pages are solid with bright text and pictures. Overall good purchase.
I absolutely LOVE this!!!! It is clear, simple to follow for any medical professional no matter your experience with wounds. It is easy to follow, from identifying wounds, tissue types, to appropriate treatment. I have longed for a quick simple guide like this. I would buy it again! (in fact my employer is buying some to have in facility)
This is the most helpful book that I've found for nurses who need a little extra help with wound care. It has helpful pictures and is easy to follow. It is small enough to keep with you. I highly recommend.
