Since 1983, Tom Glatch has contributed hundreds of stories and photographs to major collector, Corvette, Mustang, muscle car, and Mopar magazines. Tom grew up during the muscle car era, and his first car was a very quick 1970 Plymouth Duster 340. Tom and his wife Kelly have contributed photographs to books by other Motorbooks authors, as well as Motorbooks' Corvette calendars. When not pursuing old muscle cars, Tom works for a Fortune 500 corporation as a data and systems analyst and developer. He lives in southeastern Wisconsin.Tom Loeser has worked as a Firefighter for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (now known as CAL Fire), as a graphic designer and photographer, and as chief photographer for the Long Beach Grand Prix. This is a totally quality piece of work. The vehicles chosen to be featured are pristine, the photography is clearly done by "car guys," it truly is a collection of photos and text from the artistic angle. I owned a 1970 'Cuda 340 and reading through this book brings back fond memories.

The seller gave excellent service. It came a lot quicker than I expected. The book is nice. I searched for “1973 Roadrunner”, but even though it said it contained it in the book, it skipped from 1972 cars to present day and did not cover any cars from 73-74. A little disappointing.

But the author said his first car was a 340 Duster.....Not a 340 Duster/Demon in the entire book.

Gave it as a gift! He loved it. The pictures were spectacular and it featured cars he enjoyed. Would recommend for the car guy in your life.

Beautifully photographed book with lots of information. Will keep this for reference.

He is also useful to remind us that crucifixion was NOT a uniquely Roman method of torture and death.However, his central assertion, that the 'Jesus' of the early Judaeo-Christian church became identified with the 'Teacher of Righteousness' of the Essene community remains speculation. We have no evidence that the Teacher was crucified - we have more evidence that his opponent, the 'Spouter of Lies' was the poor sod who met with a sticky end. It IS an intriguing hypothesis - when you read the genuine letters of Paul, for instance (some allowances for later editing have to be made) you begin to suspect that Paul's 'Christ' may well have died quite happily in his bed as an old man for all that Paul knows about him. The ubiquity of crucifixion as a method of dispatch in that era may explain why Paul is able to say that he himself was 'crucified' in Galatians: Paul's use of the term may be metaphorical more often than not.And if each of the Gospels is a pesher they are written in a style quite unlike the pesharim, for instance the pesher on Habbakuk which Glasse alludes to. Glasse does not cite evidence for that assertion.This book needs a lot of heavy editing before it becomes readable, sorry to say.

But the travelogue resource book is worth the price alone. The author devoted well over a decade of her life to the 'God project', a mission to discover, uncover, and advocate for the DNA of the most religious icons in history. She wasn't just a researcher, and certainly not a new age groupie with gods and goddesses to idolize. In fact Olsson came in contact with perceived enemies of our age and became a peaceful ambassador of the west, a female ambassador to those who devalue females in their culture. As you peel the layers off this literary onion you will see that Olsson is a female 'Indiana Jones' risking life and limb to bring back the treasures of antiquity, whatever they might prove to be. Instead of the Indiana Jones whip for protection against armed men and cultural prejudice, the author had only her wits to survive her mission. Olsson's search led her to countries of war where she faced daily danger and uncertainty to find lost tombs, to discover information lost in time, lost in other cultures, lost to mankind. It is written that the prophet Jesus said, 'Where the mind is, there is the treasure'. This author has done the hard physical and mental work, has taken the fearful risks, has brought back the treasure. It is up to the reader to open the box,explore the contents, and guard the treasure within.

I stumbled upon “ Jesus in Kasmir “ by accident. I was looking to see if the book “ Jesus Lived in India “, by Holger Kersten, was available in a kindle format. So when I did my search, to my surprise, Suzanne’s great book appeared instead. I read some of the other reviews on the book and I thought I would peruse the text. I found it to be an excellent read and a universe of wealth. Her book is an incredible journey. Years of dedication went into this research to bring forth this textbook of enlightenment. During my life I have read most every religion. Truth has always been my passion. In this case, Suzanne is our “ Indiana Jones “ as she leads us along the path of her life’s travels and devotion to unravel great mysteries of the past to the present. She combines historical research with personal experiences while living in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan during several wars and conflicts. I am very thankful a wonderful woman such as Suzanne Olsson has dedicated her life to take this journey for us. We can merely sit safely in our easy chair and enjoy this incredible odyssey.

Initially I was looking at other books to do with Mary Magdalene, but they all seemed too whimsical and something just told me not to waste my money - I stumbled across Jesus In Kashmir book:The Lost Tomb, having never heard of this title or Author before, I did some research into the book and decided it was really worth buying. I AM SO GLAD I DID! This book was very unexpected, and not predictable like so many other books, it brings up fascinating subjects, that if you are a seeker of truth this is a great book for you, it will get you to think, and shows the experience and vast knowledge of the Author. I have myself traveled parts of the Middle East, it brings back all those magical memories or the Real people who live there, the real history that has long been forgotten. This is not one of those wifty wafty books that are all too much in abundance when it comes to subjects regarding Jesus, Mary, or Mary Mag / I am so glad my intuition guided me to this incredible read, I recommend it so highly.

Clearly well researched. A little hard to follow at first . The information is new and related much to an area of the world we in the Us know little about and this adds to the problem. However, this is its strong point: it is new, it does open your eyes to new possibilities about how the world has actually evolved and presents through DNA studies a scientific basis for her work. Very informative! Very real!

I bought this book after hearing Suzanne speak, on a Government of India Youtube video covering the same subject. However, the video presents the info in an easy to understand manner; her book does not. I was really looking forward to a good read on this fascinating subject, but while reading her book, I could only think that Suzanne needs a good editor to make her story more understandable. I felt totally confused while reading this book! It's like a jigsaw puzzle with many pieces scattered all over the place. There are so many different cultures mentioned here, and names that cross over with different spellings, that it leaves the reader feeling overwhelmed and more confused than ever. I would suggest some sort of a family tree at the beginning of the book that the chapters could follow. I know how hard it is to get a self-published book correct, as I wrote Still Singing, Somehow many times over, until I finally got it right. I wish Suzanne nothing but luck in re-editing her valuable book, so that it will be easier to really understand and reach a much broader audience.

Finally a book that explores a far more likely history than the one brainwashed into us as schoolchildren!. To quote Thomas Paine, "God gave us reason, not religion!"

This book did a good job introducing complex social issues and injustices on a level that my seven year old could understand. The book provided enough detail to serve as a springboard for further discussion without being so long that she lost interest in the subject.

These are great books. All of the Who Was books are excellent for young readers. My daughter gets very excited when she can teach us a little something about history and she seems to truly find things interesting. I think this is a great read for grades 3 and 4

Paper back book. Good book for the price and my daughter loved reading about her history over the school summer break.

This book was great, my daughter had to read it for class, she seemed to really enjoy it. My other daughter also read it, they both said that they thought it was super good. It is a good read!

Excellent series of books we plan on trying to buy as many of this collection as possible. It is perfect for children readers who are looking to learn about historical people, places or events. It breaks it down in an informative but digestible amount for the young reader.

These are such great books! I wonder if my granddaughter would even be introduced to Rosa Parks in school. She knows her now!
