Good book; already very useful. Well-organized and covers major topics in a way that is easy to understand. Website not so much. It is very difficult to navigate, find pertinent links (which don't point to the right stuff a lot of the time), and the worst part is they are trying to sell you something on every page instead of helping you with what you've bought. Least helpful website for any tech book I've bought recently.Will probably not buy from this publisher again. 5 stars for book, 2 stars for website.

As title say, this is not an introductory book in object pascal. As you peel the layers off this literary onion you will see that Olsson is a female 'Indiana Jones' risking life and limb to bring back the treasures of antiquity, whatever they might prove to be. Instead of the Indiana Jones whip for protection against armed men and cultural prejudice, the author had only her wits to survive her mission. Olsson's search led her to countries of war where she faced daily danger and uncertainty to find lost tombs, to discover information lost in time, lost in other cultures, lost to mankind. It is written that the prophet Jesus said, 'Where the mind is, there is the treasure'. This author has done the hard physical and mental work, has taken the fearful risks, has brought back the treasure. It is up to the reader to open the box,explore the contents, and guard the treasure within.

I stumbled upon “ Jesus in Kasmir “ by accident. I was looking to see if the book “ Jesus Lived in India “, by Holger Kersten, was available in a kindle format. So when I did my search, to my surprise, Suzanne’s great book appeared instead. I read some of the other reviews on the book and I thought I would peruse the text. I found it to be an excellent read and a universe of wealth. Her book is an incredible journey. Years of dedication went into this research to bring forth this textbook of enlightenment. During my life I have read most every religion. Truth has always been my passion. In this case, Suzanne is our “ Indiana Jones “ as she leads us along the path of her life’s travels and devotion to unravel great mysteries of the past to the present. She combines historical research with personal experiences while living in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan during several wars and conflicts. I am very thankful a wonderful woman such as Suzanne Olsson has dedicated her life to take this journey for us. We can merely sit safely in our easy chair and enjoy this incredible odyssey.

Initially I was looking at other books to do with Mary Magdalene, but they all seemed too whimsical and something just told me not to waste my money - I stumbled across Jesus In Kashmir book:The Lost Tomb, having never heard of this title or Author before, I did some research into the book and decided it was really worth buying. I AM SO GLAD I DID! This book was very unexpected, and not predictable like so many other books, it brings up fascinating subjects, that if you are a seeker of truth this is a great book for you, it will get you to think, and shows the experience and vast knowledge of the Author. I have myself traveled parts of the Middle East, it brings back all those magical memories or the Real people who live there, the real history that has long been forgotten. This is not one of those wifty wafty books that are all too much in abundance when it comes to subjects regarding Jesus, Mary, or Mary Mag / I am so glad my intuition guided me to this incredible read, I recommend it so highly.

Clearly well researched. A little hard to follow at first . The information is new and related much to an area of the world we in the Us know little about and this adds to the problem. However, this is its strong point: it is new, it does open your eyes to new possibilities about how the world has actually evolved and presents through DNA studies a scientific basis for her work. Very informative! Very real!

I bought this book after hearing Suzanne speak, on a Government of India Youtube video covering the same subject. However, the video presents the info in an easy to understand manner; her book does not. I was really looking forward to a good read on this fascinating subject, but while reading her book, I could only think that Suzanne needs a good editor to make her story more understandable. I felt totally confused while reading this book! It's like a jigsaw puzzle with many pieces scattered all over the place. There are so many different cultures mentioned here, and names that cross over with different spellings, that it leaves the reader feeling overwhelmed and more confused than ever. I would suggest some sort of a family tree at the beginning of the book that the chapters could follow. I know how hard it is to get a self-published book correct, as I wrote Still Singing, Somehow many times over, until I finally got it right. I wish Suzanne nothing but luck in re-editing her valuable book, so that it will be easier to really understand and reach a much broader audience.

Finally a book that explores a far more likely history than the one brainwashed into us as schoolchildren!. To quote Thomas Paine, "God gave us reason, not religion!"

This book did a good job introducing complex social issues and injustices on a level that my seven year old could understand. The book provided enough detail to serve as a springboard for further discussion without being so long that she lost interest in the subject.

These are great books. All of the Who Was books are excellent for young readers. My daughter gets very excited when she can teach us a little something about history and she seems to truly find things interesting. I think this is a great read for grades 3 and 4

Before I purchased this book I called Amazon to make sure it came with the mind tap code she reassured me the book did WRONG! This book does not come with a mind tap access code meaning you will have to spend an extra hundred dollars just to access all the class materials such as the cases etc.

I rented this book for a college class that I am taking this quarter. I have actually really enjoyed the book and found it very useful. It is not dry and boring as many would think a law textbook might be. The examples and stories are relevant to anyone who has ever entered or even thought about entering into a contract. If you are thinking of starting a business, or even just wonder how different types of businesses and contracts work I would suggest this textbook as a great resource. In fact, I find it so useful that I plan to purchase it at the end of the quarter instead of returning it as a rental!

I was satisfied with this rental. I do like to take photos of the arrival condition for my own protection, however. I will not be up-charged for damage that already existed. This book was in the best condition of my rental lot.

Used for my Business Law class. Very easy to read, very direct, great introduction. Wish it wasn't a textbook with textbook prices, I'd love to simply own a copy as a quick, generalized reference guide.

It's not often I write that a canning cookbook is fun to read, but the I Can Can Relishes, Salsa, Sauces & Chutney!! cookbook by author Jennifer Shambrook, Ph.D is a delight to read. Her writing is witty and informative. Her recipes look pretty good too. Some of those recipes include:Blue Ribbon Sweet Pickle Relish RecipeJerushy RecipeKentucky Ketchup RecipeUncle Terry's Mexican Meatloaf Recipe (the recipe uses salsa and there is a salsa recipe in her cookbook)Please buy her cookbook as I am sure you will enjoy her down home folksy writing that teaches how to can using hot water bath based canning recipes.There is an interactive table of contents making navigation easy.Recommend.Penmouse

My only wish is that there was a way to ask Dr Shambrook a question other than Facebook, I don't do Facebook. Other than that this book is great. I used to can with my Mom when I was a teenager and have done a bit on my own through the years but never did the vast selection of things the good Dr. does. Also I have been looking for a cranberry chutney recipe everywhere and while this doesn't have one, it does have a chutney recipe that I think I can tweek to make what I want. Hope to get more of her books as I love the stories as well as the recipes.

I bought this because also I was in the title. And I've been looking to try a lot of new salsa recipes. I'm looking forward to trying them even though the book hasn't gotten the best reviews. Was reading through it this afternoon and was Finding typos. It was quite frustrating. The book itself came and great packaging came on time and it's not damaged or anything and like I said I haven't tried the recipes yet but with the typos and it's a very very very short cookbook has me a bit turned off.

I so enjoyed this book. I am a huge fan of the author, so of course had to buy the newest book in her collection. I must say, she has done it again! Before I knew it, I had read through the whole thing.I enjoyed this book for all of the great stories and the mouth watering recipes and pictures! This book is a new favorite for me, right beside The Cornbread Bible.When family is important to you like it is in my family, it's necessary to have the stories that go with the recipes.Great job and congrats on another fabulous book!

really like these - new canner and a person who wants to jump in without to much to get in the way- like pages and pages of info I don't care about. At least not to begin with. So far everything has gone beautifully. I do have a question for the author about whether its possible to can grilled corn . I highly recommend these to newbies.

I just loved this book. I thought when I was reading the contents that the recipes where doubled up. I found this in the past where some books where poorly edited. But Jennifer (I hope you allow me to call you that. It is like you and I are sitting at the kitchen table comparing and getting our recipes out ready to put up the garden over production.) takes the time to write a few paragraphs about each recipes explaining how it came about. Very easy reading and so interesting. Like above I feel she is sitting at the kitchen table. More than worth you times and money.

I found this book very inspiring and motivated to immediately move to the next step, I purchased a Ball Canning Kit and extra lids and bands. I will be looking at whatever produce is available and in season now in the local market, snapping it up and plan to put in some time following Jennifer's instructions to the "T"! Thank you Jennifer for your knowledge and colourful writing style which kept me turning pages! 5 stars from me for sure.

This book is a must have for every gardener, or anyone that like to have quality condiments on hand to accent their recipes. Love it, and the stories the author shares about why this particular recipe has gained favor in her family. Tried and true, and handed down through the generations, this is a great reference book of the perfect addition to that wonderful meal that you worked hard to prepare just right.

This is a wonderful book. I also found the video online with the author giving a lecture about his investigations into other cultures.The chapter about the ability of the Polynesian people to navigate the oceans without any tools other than their passed-down knowledge and innate sensibilities is mind-blowing.

A wonderful and important book that celebrates human diversity while at the same time warning of a rapidly accelerating global loss of culture that threatens our survival as a species, while at the same time transforming the world into a vast Western monoculture driven by industry, consumerism, and the misguided notion that there is only one true, "progressive" way to live.Highly recommended. This book covers an impressive amount of ground with first hand experience that would be done, ambitiously, in 10 lifetimes. I don't know how he fit it all in. Colorful language. Brilliant metaphors throughout. But, more than that, the text covers a subject that is so needed to usher us, as privileged Westerners, out of our insular techno-lives and into an awareness of the very different world of First Peoples of this planet. First Peoples that remember their ancestry, celebrate the ever-expanding moment and actually enjoy their lives.
